Spotlight On: The B. Prepared primer

Well, well, well, I finally plucked up the courage to try the B. Primer, and how amazing is this little tube of clear gold?

I’m still new to the primer world and have only tried DHC‘s ones so far, but a while ago B. had a half price promo on the range and after rave reviews I went for their primer.

I tried it in store and thought it felt brilliant, compared to a few other one’s that just felt a bit wrong on the back of my hand.

Here’s how it all went down…

B.Prepared primer – £9.99 for 25ml at Superdrug

Looks like: A clear gel

Application? A 10 pence piece size is needed as it’s quite thick but blends out almost instantly so be sure not to overdo it as you can’t really see it blending in, you can just feel it!  Also it doesn’t flake!

Display? To be honest you can’t even see it overall when it’s on, it doesn’t give a ‘matte’ finish as such, you can just see a slight greyish tinge that shows you’ve applied it.  I can be a bit tricky remembering where you’ve applied it as it blends to flawlessly!

Cons? NONE

Final verdict:  5/5 – I was a bit put off by the price as big branded one’s aren’t that much more, but then I realised you get much more in this one at 25ml!  As the application is flawless it’s definitely my first go-to primer since it doesn’t mattify you face if you’re rather dewy!
