Topshop is BACK for LFW with a new social media trend shopping experience for AW15, courtesy of Twitter!
Last season (haha… well this season’s SS15), Topshop launched a social campaign on Twitter with the help of their Oxford Street flagship store, allowing folks to shop the trends on the catwalk. Well for next season, they’ve upped the Anti!
What is it?
A social shopping partnership with the two T’s, Topshop and Twitter, giving shoppers and tweeters instant access the next seasons trend styles, available to buy right away!
Look out for Topshop’s billboards, tweets, Topshop.com’s LIVE streaming and instore displays at the Oxford Street Flagship store for the latest tweeds, trends, and pieces to buy!
How do I get involved?
TWEET, TWEET, TWEET!!! Hashtag and mention @Topshop in your LFW trend reports and let the partnership work their magic in curating a whole look for you based on the popular LFW trend hashtags. Since it’s the autumn showcase, trends such as #military and #metallics may get a mention! BEST of all, you can shop the trends in store and online straight away!
What do I do in-store?
If you’re rich enough to be shopping during LFW, make sure you’re in the Oxford Street store to watch the AW15 show LIVE. Tweet throughout and the best tweet will win a ticket to the SS16 show in September, and one of the key trend wardrobe edits for the AW15 season. then Chillout and channel your inner 5-year-old with Topshop‘s own vending machine where you ‘tweet for a treat’. (I’m a sucker for this kind of comp!)
Where can I see myself famous?
Check out the huge social media billboards in the main cities: London, Birmingcham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Leeds. Just 10 minutes from each store, you can tweet and shop in less time than it takes to queue for a sandwich at lunchtime.
Do it for the Vine!
I’m overly obsessed with Vine so the fact Topshop have incorporated the app into their positively Unique show is AMAZING. Models of Topshop’s show will strut their stuff in the new season styles for 6 seconds, before they hit the catwalk which will then be instantly shared across social sites as they strut down the runway,
“shake it off”
