Rewind Expo Milano 2015: The best pavilions
Last year I had the amazing opportunity to visit the Expo Milano fair in Italy in june.
Here’s a look at what I thought were the best pavilions from around the world.
Most people don’t know about the EXPO fair and I didn’t until it arrived in Milan. Each couple of years or so the EXPO showcase moves around the world showcasing each countries sustainable contribution to society, whether it be food plantation, energy sources or construction. 2015 was a turning point for Italy’s tourism as the EXPO fair arrived in Milan, and it worked on me as I took my fam to Milan in October the week before it closed.
EXPO Milano was a real eye opener for me as it meant you got an insight into countries you’ve a, never even heard of and b, you’ll never ever see in your life time. You came across such an amazing mixture of cultures practises and of course their natural food.
It was a bit like royalty in some pavilions since some artefacts, fabrics and statues, were untouchable, where no pictures were allowed.
Unfortunately I didn’t really get a chance to sample all of the food as I went in June when the weather was what you would expect in august so I stuck to fluids and small basic food portions.
Anyway here’s my pick of the best pavilions, where the design construction was second to none.
The next EXPO will be in Kazakhstan in 2017, followed by Dubai in 2020.
